Have you ever heard hammonds with bass guitar and drums? Without singer? Could you imagine how does it sound like? I couldn’t. Until this evening.

I’ve been in Roxy Club with my old friend Ondřej attending one of the Free Mondays. Tonight with Sunflower Caravan, not very well known band (yet) who’s members say about themselves that they sound maybe like nobody else. And it’s truth. Definitely. I’ve never heard anything like this.

The concerto tonight was amazing (even thought the entry was not paid). Imagine absolutely electric sound of the 70’s (yes, there was no electric sound at all, but imagine the absoluteness of it) mixed with britpop inspired by Frank Zappa and The Beatles. And at least but not last, add the ultimate killing enthusiasm of the players.

To be honest, most of the enthusiasm was presented by the keyboard player. He’s the real stunning entertainer. In his poses behind the organs, in his quickly running, jumping and dancing on the stage. While drinking and one hand playing when turned back to the keyboards. This band does not need a sexy female singer. There’s no place for her.
